Top of the League for Signs
7 September 2006
Forrest Displays were recently awarded the Scottish Football Association contract to ‘dress’ Celtic Park in Glasgow for the recent International against the Faroe Islands, Scotland’s opening game of Euro 2008. The venue was chosen as a certain Mr. Williams was playing a concert at Hampden Park! Forrest were required to completely re-dress the stadium in the SFA sponsors branding. Names included Seat, Diadora, Taggarts and SpecSavers. The catch was that the whole stadium had to be covered in 48 hours ………… some 2000 metres of full colour banners and signs. Forrest achieved this using their new, high speed wide format Roland VersaCam digital printer. The artworks were printed onto PVC banner material and the results were striking (no pun intended)! The Scotland team delivered on the day with a 6-0 win, but credit where credit’s due ….... the boys from Forrest done good too!
