N.B Given potential deviations in artwork files all artwork is subject to a test run, prior to approval, to run on CityScreen.
Still Images
The DPI of of the images doesn't really matter. Just keep in mind that the higher the DPI, the better the image, but the file will be larger.
We suggest not going higher than 300dpi.
Although the software will scale files to size, we recommend that all files are created to the relevant screen resolution.

- PSD (Adobe Photoshop file, final image only. Individual layers are not accessible)
- RGB (SGI RGB image file)
Animation/Movies
Although (with the exception of Flash files*), the software will scale files to size, we recommend that all files are created to the relevant screen resolution as the scaling can stretch and skew images depending on the original file resolution.
Ideal maximum file size of 50 MB
*Flash files are vector-based, which means the file will always keep its ratio and can result in a visible white border.

AVI (Microsoft Audio Video Interleave format) - Video codecs: Uncompressed, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Cinepak, Indeo 5.10. Also support for AVI files with a transparency channel (32-bit ARGB)
MPEG / MPG / MPE (Motion Picture Experts Group video/audio formats) - Video codecs: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4
FLASH (SWF files only) Flash ® version 6, 7, 8 or 9 players

N.B. The playback system is PC-based and not able to play files published as Quick Time movies. The system does not support files output as mp4.
